After making hundreds of #FollowFriday recommendations on Twitter throughout the second half of 2010 and beginning of 2011, it finally dawned on us to integrate our #FF efforts into this nifty WordPress.com weblog we contribute to several times each week.
Last week’s feature focused on a global leader in delivering innovation in communications, information and entertainment – Verizon – and was so well received that we are able to justify making a continuing “trend” out of our weekly #FollowFriday tweets finding a more glorified home here on our WordPress weblog.
In today’s posting, we will not only share this week’s featured #FollowFriday account, @facebook, but also take our readers in for a closer look at twenty five of the seventy two Twitter accounts @facebook is currently following … a mirror, if you will, into the soul(-cial media) of a social utility that helps people communicate more efficiently with their friends, family and coworkers.
Yep. We just said it … “soulcial media”. We also said “a social utility that helps people communicate more efficiently with their friends, family and coworkers” in the same sentence.
