Have you ever dialed a number which you’d been calling for years, only to discover that it is no longer in service? AudioAcrobat members and guests experiencing this will need to make sure that they’re dialing/publishing the NEW AudioAcrobat Guest Line and Call-In numbers.
In today’s posting, we aim to provide a clear and updated perspective on the new AudioAcrobat Guest Line and Call-In numbers for our members and their guests.
Out with the Old … In with the New!
When AudioAcrobat was first established in 2004, our telephone servers were based in Dallas, TX, hence the (214) area code. With progress must come change, right? Since that is most often the case and as our company grew, the telephone servers were then relocated to Austin, TX ((512) area code), where they would then be closer to the team members who are responsible for their maintenance and upgrades.
What’s This?
Upon logging into their accounts this past week, all AudioAcrobat members should have seen the following notice:

Hello,
The new phone numbers have been in use for well over a year. Notices have been posted.
The old ones will be discontinued tomorrow December 13, 2010. Please do not use the old numbers as they will not record.
The new numbers are as follow:
1) For recording calls: 512-827-0500
2) For Guest Lines: 512-827-0505 + extension
If you have any Guest Lines outstanding with the old number, please substitute with the new Guest Line number. The Extension will remain the same.

After the Switch
Once our readers have switched over to the new phone numbers (most have switched over a year ago when the new numbers were first released), they should expect the same stable, reliable telephone recording services offered by AudioAcrobat since our inception in 2004. The only difference is that there are A LOT more lines available for new members with room for expansion in the months to come.
Put Those New Numbers to Use!
Now that our readers have updated their sites, datebooks, emails and newsletters with the new Guest Line and Call-In numbers, we recommend putting them to good use in recording an upcoming teleconference, interview, training session or cold call; or setting up a new Guest Line to capture those warm ‘Season’s Greetings’ from family members, co-workers or friends who won’t be sharing the holidays with our readers in-person this year. Heck, we’ve even had families send the Guest Line number to the whole crew to record ‘Happy Birthday’ wishes that were arranged and sequenced with music for a full-on production … pretty inventive folks if we do say so ourselves!
