Have you ever attempted to send an email with an audio file attached? Did that message ever ‘bounce-back’ with a message reading, “something, something, something … undeliverable”? If you’re fed up with bulky attachments and uncertain delivery methods, we’ve got some great news for you!
In today’s posting, we’ll take our readers through the process of sending their AudioAcrobat recordings via email; a process which *does not* involve attaching additional files and *will not* affect whether or not the sent message will ‘bounce-back’ or be returned undeliverable.
First Things First
Before our readers can get started publishing their audio for email, they will first need to have created one or more audios in their account by phone, computer microphone or by uploading. Once this crucial step has been completed, we may proceed to the act (and art) of publishing audio for email using AudioAcrobat.
Quick Steps:
1. Login to your AudioAcrobat account
2. Click the blue “Audio” tab
3. Click the title of the Audio you wish to publish
4. Click “Publish Audio”
5. Click “Publish for Email”
Expanded Steps:
Login to your AudioAcrobat account
Click the blue “Audio” tab
Click the title of the Audio you wish to publish
Click “Publish Audio”
Click “Publish for Email”
Here our readers will see several different pieces of code and/or hyperlinks. Please continue on below for a brief explanation of each option:
HTML Graphical Button
Copy/Paste into the Source Code of your HTML Newsletter to display the click-able “AudioAcrobat Click to Play” graphic
HTML Text Link
Copy/Paste into the Source Code of your HTML Newsletter to display the click-able text: “Click here to listen…”
Text Only Link
Copy/Paste into any email message body to display as a click-able hyperlink
AOL Link
Copy/Paste into your AOL Text email to display as a click-able hyperlink
Hint: If you are on a PC, using Internet Explorer, place your mouse cursor over the HTML Graphical Button preview to the right of the code (the gold square button with the AudioAcrobat logo), right-click and select “copy”. Open up your email program (Outlook, Thunderbird, etc.) and, in the HTML mode, place your mouse cursor in the message body area; right click and select “paste”. The HTML Graphical Button will show up in your HTML email message area with the listening information along with it!
No matter which above method our readers might have chosen, we’re convinced that they have just experienced the EASIEST way of sending an email containing audio EVER. All their recipient has to do is click the link/graphic and a new page will open in their internet browser … and the audio will begin to play automatically!

Note: The above ‘custom player’ will only display if the Email/HTML Newsletter opens in a web browser.
