Interested in learning about Guest Lines? Perhaps you’ve already created one or more Guest Lines and are looking to create a custom greeting for your callers to hear before leaving their testimonial or feedback? We’ve got you covered.
Many of our members use the Guest Lines feature of their account to capture feedback and testimonials for their product or service. We’ve seen plenty of innovative implementations of this feature and wanted to make sure that our readers are able to fully take advantage of its full potential.
In today’s posting, we will show our readers how to create a custom outgoing “greeting” for their callers to hear before making their recording on an AudioAcrobat Guest Line.
Quick Steps:
1. Login to your AudioAcrobat account
2. Click the blue “Guest Lines” tab
3. Click the title of the Guest Line you wish to edit
Expanded Steps:
Login to your AudioAcrobat account
Click the blue “Guest Lines” tab
Click the title of the Guest Line you wish to edit
On the “Recorded Audios” page, our readers will see the Guest Line Title, Phone Number, list of any recordings that have been made into the selected Guest Line as well as tabs containing more options, such as the “View Guest Line” tab. Go ahead and give ‘er a click.
To record a custom greeting, our readers will be instructed to call into AudioAcrobat and enter their nine digit PIN. As the voice prompt picks up and begins to identify the action of each button on our reader’s keypad, the (4) key will be mentioned as the selection to record a new message for any Guest Line within the user’s account.
Entering the 4 digit extension will be the next step, followed by the prompt for our readers to record their custom greeting.
Note: Custom greetings can be up to thirty seconds in length and at this time can only be recorded by phone.
One of the next features to be released on AudioAcrobat will be a complimentary service to the Guest Lines, commonly known as “Sizzle Lines“. This feature will allow users to provide a phone number for listeners to call-in to hear an audio of a substantial length (the 30 seconds of a Guest Line greeting just doesn’t cut it when re-hosting a teleseminar etc.).
Looking for something to keep you company while you’re waiting for those recordings to come in? How about a little “computer stupidities” humor? Perhaps Jimi playing “Voodoo Child” at Woodstock?
However, if you’re a businessperson who’s feeling slightly productive (and really competitive) … we suggest signing up for workstreamer. As they say, “stop searching. start listening.” Seriously though, it’s more than just a catch phrase.
