Have you ever wondered about the gnomes that power the internet? Some believe that it’s really hamsters, while others realize that it is nothing more than Mt. Dew and Doritos… Regardless of who or what is powering the internet, the fact remains that in order to provide streaming audio and video + download links, the data will have to be a) hosted online and b) transferred from the host to the consumer.
In today’s posting, we will show our readers how AudioAcrobat empowers its users to record, broadcast and distribute as much audio and video as they possibly can … without ever blowing a transistor or breaking the bank.
Unmetered Storage
…At least in the sense that our members needn’t ever worry about having recorded too many audios, uploaded too many videos or received too many testimonials, etc.
We’re not saying that our members can’t view the amount of data stored in their account or view graphs based on storage over time … we’re just not charging them extra to store as much as they like in their library.
Want to view your current storage? Follow these easy steps:
1. Log into your AudioAcrobat account
2. Click the blue “Account” tab
3. Click “Storage”
Conversion: 5GB = 5000MB
Included in each member’s monthly subscription is a bandwidth transfer allotment of 5GB or 5000MB worth of data. If a member should require more bandwidth due to audience growth, syndication or plain ‘ol booming business, additional bandwidth is provided as needed at $1/GB (ex. for another 5GB, the member would be billed $5).
Hint: Members publishing telephone recordings will receive between 300-500 hours of playback from 5GB of bandwidth.
Our members can access their bandwidth usage statistics in two main places within their account. If seeking bandwidth usage information for a specific audio or video, the member can visit the “View Audio” or “View Video” page within the respective “Audio” or “Video” section of their account.
If seeking global bandwidth usage statistics for the account, our members can get an in-depth view by following these quick steps:
1. Log into your AudioAcrobat account
2. Click the blue “Account” tab
3. Click “Bandwidth”
Upon arrival at the “Bandwidth” section of a member’s account, our readers will see a graph displaying the bandwidth usage for the current billing cycle (“Bandwidth Used Graph“) and another for the last 30 days (“Daily Bandwidth Usage“)
For an in-depth table comparing files side-by-side, our readers will want to go ahead and click the “Usage by File” tab.
Click on the title heading of any column, such as “Bytes Used“, to sort up or down by value. This is especially helpful if you wish to view your most or least popular recordings.
With this knowledge, we are happy to empower our members with the ability to keep an eagle eye on the consumption of their content, the popularity of their brand and the traction of their business.
We accept thank you messages at (512) 827-0505 x2244.
