Have you ever wanted to clone yourself? How about having wished for more hours in the day? Well, we’re not necessarily into genetic modification or time expansion here at AudioAcrobat, but we have developed a way for our members to create as many one-page websites aka “AudioNotes” as they like.
In today’s posting, we not only aim to show our readers how to create an AudioNote from scratch or by selecting one of our pre-made Templates, but we also intend to plant seeds within our readers minds, which we anticipate will grow into full-blown ideas that can be carried out with ease … time and time again throughout 2010 and into the future!
If you build it … they will come
Before creating your AudioNote, it is always a good idea to do a small amount of planning. At bare minimum, you will need to have already recorded the Audio or have programmed the Playlist you intend on including, as this will be selected during the beginning steps of creating your AudioNote.
By design, each AudioNote will play the selected Audio automatically as soon as the AudioNote is opened — so make sure that you place your best foot forward at all opportunities!
Note: Technically, you can select *any* Audio or Playlist from within your account when creating your AudioNote, choosing to come back later to edit; but for today’s posting, we’ll have assumed that the Audio or Playlist is already in place within your account.
Quick Steps:
1. Login to your AudioAcrobat account
2. Click the blue “AudioNotes” tab
3. Click “Create New AudioNote”
Expanded Steps:
Login to your AudioAcrobat account
Click the blue “AudioNotes” tab
Click “Create New AudioNote”
At this time, you will be on a page labeled, “New AudioNote“, and will be prompted to fill out the “Title” (mandatory) and “Description” (optional) fields.
Next up is selecting the Audio or Playlist you wish to include in your AudioNote. Use the drop-down to make your selection.
After you’ve selected the Audio or Playlist that you wish to include in your AudioNote, you will have the option of either creating your AudioNote from a blank or pre-made Template.
If you wish to begin creating your AudioNote from a blank Template, make sure to select “Your Custom AudioNote” in the tray beneath the drop-down menu.
Similar to a Web Page, Blog Post, Word Document or PDF, you will have the ability to insert text, images and hyperlinks into the “Message Body” of your AudioNote, as well having access to the common WYSIWYG editor functions (text alignment, font, size, color, bullets, numbering, etc.).
Hint: If you mouse-over any button in the editor, you’ll see a screen tip pop-up and identify the button’s function.
At the bottom of the editor, you will see several tabs labeled, “Design”, “HTML Code” and “Preview”. The “Design” view will be selected by default, and will give you a good idea of your visual layout. The “Preview” view will give you a better view before saving your AudioNote. The “HTML Code” view, however, opens up many additional windows and doors … not to mention removing the chimney and tearing off the roof!
Once the “HTML Code” tab has been selected, you will be able to paste in any HTML code (Flash, Javascript, etc. are accepted) you wish. This could include, but is in no way limited to the inclusion of other AudioAcrobat Audio and Video Players, Playlists or Podcasts, Lead Capture forms (which allow your visitors to drop their email address (usually in trade for a free gift, newsletter, etc.)), 3rd Party Widgets, Banners or Buttons or any other custom code.
Click the “Save” button at the bottom of the page at any time to save your progress, view your AudioNote as your audience would or continue working within your account.
After saving, you will be on the “View AudioNote” page. You can also get to this page by logging into your Account, clicking the blue “AudioNotes” tab and clicking the Title of the AudioNote you wish to view.
Here you can obtain your AudioNote URL, View your AudioNote, Send to a Friend or make further Edits.
AudioAcrobat Training Notification – This AudioNote is sent to each and every AudioAcrobat member weekly to inform them of upcoming Live (Free) Training Classes. The note is simple, but is extremely effective in serving its purpose of bringing regularly updated information to a large audience on a recurring basis.
Note: You may notice when clicking the link above that we’ve shortened and customized our URL using Bit.ly, a popular URL redirection service with real-time link tracking. This can also be done through other shortening services or through your hosting provider (GoDaddy, etc.) within your account control panel.
WomensRadio’s Indie Artist Agreement Informative AudioNote – This AudioNote is providing more information about the Radio Airplay Guidelines for Artists applying to have their music played on WomensRadio (yes, they use AudioAcrobat extensively!). As you can see, it plays an important role in conveying specific information to a niche audience.

As our members discover just how many different ways there are to utilize their AudioAcrobat accounts to further their business during times of global financial instability, the more potential eyeballs they realize can be captured.
They see the potential for more prospects there are to be referred; the more leads there are to follow up on, the more clients to service and the more paychecks there are to be cashed. Simply stated, these tools are necessary for the modern businessman or businesswoman. Without them, you could very well be leaving money on the table for someone who has already implemented these systems to take to the bank (more likely stuffing in the mattress these days).
We here at AudioAcrobat want to make sure that our members know and understand that we’ll be here to answer questions, plant ideas and invent the impossible the entire way through the process of building their businesses; making sure that a constant stream of innovative and sustainable solutions are provided to those of whom which we are here to serve and support.
Which brings us to our closing mantra … What are you waiting for? Start creating your newest AudioNote for your new Product Launch, Sample, Giveaway, Event Update, Personal, Private or Worldwide Message — and always remember — If your audience can’t hear you talking, why would they bother to listen in the first place?
