AudioAcrobat wants to provide an update on how our team is helping to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus, COVID-19.
As always, the health and safety of our employees and members is our highest priority.
We are actively following the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and local government agencies. Part of this includes giving our employees the flexibility to work from home. This allows our valued team members to do their part to help prevent the spread through social distancing, while still providing superior customer service.
Through this temporary adjustment, AudioAcrobat will remain dedicated and responsive to its members’ needs.
Prevent the Spread, Together.
We also realize that members are doing their part to prevent the spread, which includes engaging in social distancing.
During this time members may need to rely more on AudioAcrobat and its features. Therefore, we’d like to point out a few core features that can aid members and their clients in practicing social distancing during this global health crisis.
Record by Phone
Members can use AudioAcrobat’s Record by Phone feature to record any phone call, from anywhere in the world, avoiding in-person interaction and practicing social distancing.
Landing Pages
Landing Pages allow members to continue to share information and conduct commerce with outside parties virtually, instead of in person.
Sizzle Lines
Members can use Sizzle Lines to share information and receive feedback from outside parties via phone lines — another great resource to help prevent the spread.
Podcasts
Podcasts give members the ability to share audio and video content for the world to listen to and view, so others may practice social distancing.
Publishing Features
One of the most unique aspects to AudioAcrobat is that it provides a wide variety of publishing features for both audio and video content. This empowers members to continue to share their message with the world virtually and do their part to prevent the spread.
What’s Next?
Thinking towards the future, many who publish audio and video content online are aware that Adobe Flash will no longer be supported by the end of December 2020.
Flash has been used to serve up audio and video players for over a decade and is deeply integrated into the online experience. For this reason, many technology companies in addition to AudioAcrobat are taking carefully planned steps to remove the use of Flash and provide a fluid and uninterrupted transition.
AudioAcrobat will be providing additional updates for members as they become available. As always, our team will be on hand, working to address any concerns that may arise regarding this significant update.
