It seems as though not a day goes by where we’re asked if AudioAcrobat can host webinars, and while we are not a full-fledged webinar hosting service there are several major players to choose from, as well as several up-and-coming startups that are entering the space. In today’s post we aim to share with you our experience with one of the major players, and our new favorite webinar/meeting software, ClickMeeting!
Back in the day…
In the past, we had been using a major player in this space, GoToWebinar, to host all of our online demos / training classes / webinars, etc. and really enjoyed the service. That being said, there were relative costs associated with this great software and as time moved on we started noticing that there were other webinar / meeting startups entering the market who could offer a boatload of features, many of which overlap that of other more established companies, at prices that were literally a fraction of the competition.
We took the plunge!
After weighing the available options in late 2014, we decided to make the switch from GoToWebinar to ClickMeeting. There was a bit of a learning curve, and we understood that they were a young company so there may be some technological challenges from time to time, but to be completely honest making the switch was seemingly effortless.
Not only could we still accommodate pre-webinar registrations, collect and archive registrant data (name, email, phone, etc.), send email notifications prior to the event start date/time and many of the other features we had come to expect of a webinar service, but we now also had access to tools that would allow us to re-brand and embed the meeting room anywhere on the web, collect useful stats/metrics and a slew of other compelling features we haven’t even gotten into yet.
Long story short…
At first we were content with GoToWebinar, but soon realized there were other options out there where we may be able to increase the efficiency of our webinar service expenditures. After analyzing the competition, we saw great potential in ClickMeeting and decided to jump right in. After using ClickMeeting for several months without any major glitches, we are now happy to share our recommendation with anyone in search of a great webinar/meeting software.
So, for those of you looking for an inexpensive, robust and easy-to-use webinar/meeting software… click through to get started right away!
