The #FollowFriday Series highlights today’s up-and-coming, active and all-around noteworthy Twitter accounts the AudioAcrobat staff deems worthy of following; while at the same time peering deeper into the soul(-cial media) of each account and providing a brief-yet-informative analysis.
Welcome back for the eleventh #FollowFriday tweet / WordPress mashup of 2012 here on the AudioAcrobat Weblog!
How many sites have you logged in to today prior to reading this article? At least one we suspect. What do you suppose the chances are that sometime this week you will use a ‘Forgot Password’ utility on a Website you’re attempting to login to? The magic 8-ball seems to think that there is a ‘high probability’ that this will take place.
Now imagine what these answers could be if there was a central, albeit infinitely-secure, network which kept track of this beyond important information…
Here, we will dive deeper into the Tweets of San Jose-based startup, OneID (@OneID) and the Twitter accounts they have chosen to follow … a mirror, if you will, into the soul(-cial media) behind a company Rip Empson of TechCrunch describes as, “an all-out, world-changing infrastructure play”.
Yep. That’s right, we just said it … “soulcial media”. We also said “a company Rip Empson of TechCrunch describes as, ‘an all-out, world-changing infrastructure play'” in the same sentence.

Conclusion
In summary, it looks as though @OneID likes to follow Twitter users who focus mainly on one subject: Security. Sure, there’s a healthy mix of topics spanning tech, news, internet, research and identity, along with a superb group of directors, writers and higher-up’s in the tech world, but security takes the cake (by far) as the most common factor held between accounts @OneID has chosen to follow.
That’s a pretty impressive list, right? It is pretty specific though … Perhaps you’d like to recommend a Twitter account to profile during an upcoming #FollowFriday? If so, please comment below or tweet us up!
