The #FollowFriday Series highlights today’s up-and-coming, active and all-around noteworthy Twitter accounts the AudioAcrobat staff deems worthy of following; while at the same time peering deeper into the soul(-cial media) of each account and providing a brief-yet-informative analysis.
After making 600+ #FollowFriday recommendations on Twitter throughout the first twenty six weeks of 2011, the AudioAcrobat team is ready to keep on moving like Funkstar De Luxe.
Last week’s feature focused on a company which publishes original narratives by some of the most accomplished writers working today, at lengths that allow them to be read in a single sitting – Byliner – and was so well received by our readers that we’re once again back at it for another go-around.
…Now to connect with a service which many are calling Google’s answer to Facebook!
In today’s posting, we will not only share this week’s featured #FollowFriday account, @GooglePlus, but will also take our readers in for a closer look at twenty five of the thirty accounts @GooglePlus is currently following … a mirror, if you will, into the soul(-cial media) of Google’s project which aims to make connecting with people on the web more like connecting with them in the real world.
Yep. That’s right, we just said it … “soulcial media”. We also said “Google’s project which aims to make connecting with people on the web more like connecting with them in the real world” in the same sentence. Pretty spiffy, huh?

More about Google Plus:
Sharing is a huge part of the web, a part that we think could be a lot simpler. That’s why we’ve been working on adding a few new things to Google: to make connecting with people on the web more like connecting with them in the real world. We hope you like what we’ve cooked up so far. And stay tuned, because there’s more to come.
