Where do those cool “techy” people go to buy all of their cool “techy” stuff? You know, stuff like Computer Hardware, PC’s & Laptops, Electronics, Home Theater, Cameras & Camcorders, Software, Gaming, Cell Phones or Home and Office Supplies. Well, we don’t really know where the cool “techy” people go, but when we’re looking for Computer Hardware … Newegg is usually our first stop.
In today’s posting we will share with our readers why Newegg has remained at the top of our list when going on those late-night online shopping sprees, and why we feel our readers will benefit from discovering this established high-tech community based around a commitment to high quality products and outstanding customer service.
Wait a tic … there are hundreds of online retailers, why choose this one?
Like many on-the-ground services, when one discovers a company that presents itself well, makes its customers feel welcome and listens when they have something to say, those customers will have a satisfactory experience and will more than likely return … provided the items on the shelves sport the price tags the customers have been accustom to paying in the past.
In our introductory paragraph, we mentioned first and foremost that Newegg was a popular destination for Computer Hardware. In most cases this is the primary reason for visiting Newegg’s site. Let’s take a look at what is under the hood of this section, shall we?

Sorting through even just three items like Hard Drives, Monitors and Cables could send our readers on an excursion through various subcategories and featured items alongside combo deals and a hearty combination of both industry and customer reviews of the products available for sale.
Newegg is smart in a much similar way to the likes of Amazon and Google, where applicable recommendations based on the user’s recently viewed and purchased items are made available alongside newly stocked, regionally sorted and top rated items. All of which can be found under the “My Newegg” tab hanging out near the top-center of each page on Newegg.com.
Another impressive feature on this website is the “Shop Brands” tab, which is located to the right of the “My Newegg” tab at the top of the page. When our viewers embark on this journey with that first click, they will see one of the most glorious, awe-inspiring lists of technology brands that has ever graced the pixels of their screens.
With so many other retailers out there … do you recommend any others?
Absolutely. While Newegg is consistently at the top of our list, we also like to frequent several other e-commerce sites on the web. Here are a couple of our favorites:
